Field A, UPM, October 26, 2024 – The Secretariat of Alumni and Career, together with the Secretariat of Sports and Recreation of the College Representative Council, Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee, Kolej Sepuluh, and Kolej Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah, organized the Alumni Touch Rugby Tournament in conjunction with the Malam Amal Sirih Pulang ke Gagang@Homecoming XII 2024.

The program was also attended by YBhg. Prof. Dr. Arifin Abdu, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs and Alumni; YBrs. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Aqlima Ahmad, Director of the UPM Alumni Relations Center; Dr. Mohd. Mokrish Md Ajat, Deputy Director of the UPM Alumni Relations Office; and YBrs. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurul Hayah Khairuddin, Principal of Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee.

Several categories were contested, including the men’s college category, the age under-44 category, and the age 45-and-above category. In the men’s college category, victory went to Team Vigorous. Meanwhile, in the age under-44 category, Team Vampiria K10 claimed the championship. Finally, in the age 45-and-above category, the trophy was lifted by My All Stars team.

This program not only served as a platform for alumni and students to showcase their rugby skills but also fostered sportsmanship and strengthened bonds between students and alumni.

It is hoped that such events will continue to serve as an effective medium to enhance relationships among Universiti Putra Malaysia members through unity and collaboration in the field of sports.
