SERDANG, 20 July 2026 – Tenth College (K10), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), continues to strengthen its commitment in fostering a quality-driven work culture through the Second-Stage EKSA Implementation Assessment for the Workplace Environment Quality Award: Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA), held in conjunction with the Service Quality and Innovation Day (HKIP) 2025/2026.

The assessment, which begun at 9:00 a.m., focused on the level of EKSA practices at Tenth College, particularly in creating a workplace environment that is more conducive, productive, safe, healthy, innovative, creative, sustainable, and environmentally friendly.

The assessment session involved three panel assessors: Ms Ida Suhaila Md Tahir, Administrative Officer, Registrar’s Office; Ms Nurul Amalina Othman, Science Officer, Faculty of Agriculture; and Ms Azhana Abdullah, Assistant Information Technology Officer, Information and Communication Development Centre (iDEC), UPM.

The assessment is part of Tenth College’s ongoing efforts to ensure that EKSA principles are systematically implemented through effective space management, safety, cleanliness, workplace enhancement, and daily work practices. These efforts not only contribute to enhancing the organisation’s image but also help create a more organised and comfortable supportive working environment that promotes the productivity of the college community.

In addition to emphasising the physical aspects of the workplace, the cultivation of EKSA also encourages the active participation of all members of the organisation in maintaining a high-quality working environment. Elements such as productivity, safety and health, innovation, and creativity, as well as sustainability and environmental responsibility, serve as important foundations for developing a positive and progressive work ecosystem.

This initiative is aligned with UPM’s aspiration to cultivate a culture of excellence through enhanced service quality and continuous improvement practices among members of the university community.

Guided by the spirit of “Conducive Environment, Productive Work” and “Together We Create Excellence,” Tenth College remains committed to further strengthening EKSA practices as a catalyst for developing a more systematic, quality-driven, productive, and sustainable work culture.
