Kolej Sepuluh, UPM - On 14 and 15 October 2023, the Volunteer Secretariat and the Environment Secretariat of the College Representative Council (MPK) Kolej Sepuluh Session 2023/2024 will organize a K10 YouthCare 2.0 program in collaboration with the Kolej Sepuluh Management, Student Affairs Division (BHEP) ), Waqf, Zakat and Endowment Management Center (WAZAN), Universiti Putra Malaysia Faculty of Forestry (UPM) and Selangor State Forestry Department (JPNS).

 The organization of this activity with the local community is part of the continuation of the K10 YouthCare program in 2022. The K10 YouthCare 2.0 program was held to raise awareness among students about environmental cleanliness and the increasingly worrying problem of waste pollution. In addition, it also aims to foster a spirit of volunteerism, responsibility and produce students who care about cleanliness and environmental sustainability.

Among the programs that will be carried out are garbage cleaning activities and the planting of mangrove swamp trees in Ketam Island, Port Klang with the Selangor State Forestry Department (JPNS) as well as awareness talks related to eco-tourism preservation.

The K10 YouthCare 2.0 program which involves garbage cleaning activities and planting mangrove swamp trees on Ketam Island is limited to only 80 students who are students of UPM's Sepuluh College. This activity is part of an effort to produce individuals who are capable of understanding the economic, environmental and socio-cultural impacts of professional practice. The responsibility of preserving the environment has been clearly mentioned in surah Hud, verse 61 which means: "He is the one who made you from the materials of the earth and wants you to prosper".
