Serdang, 28 December 2025 – The Secretariat of Academic and Intellectual Development under the Majlis Perwakilan Kolej (MPK) Kolej Sepuluh, Session 2025/2026, successfully organized the Skillspire: Hero in Action program, held on 27 and 28 December 2025 at the Seminar Room, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Health Centre.

The two-day program was attended by 59 students, who demonstrated strong commitment and active participation throughout the event. It was organized to provide students with fundamental knowledge and practical exposure to First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), while promoting greater awareness of health and safety in everyday life.

Throughout the program, participants attended a series of theoretical and hands-on training sessions conducted by experienced trainers from the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS), Universiti Putra Malaysia Branch, the program's main collaborating partner. The training covered essential topics, including proper CPR techniques, the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), wound bandaging, fracture management, and appropriate emergency response procedures.

The program aimed to equip students with the confidence and essential skills required to respond effectively during emergencies and to prepare them to serve as first responders before professional medical assistance arrives.

Overall, Skillspire: Hero in Action successfully achieved its objectives by enhancing students' knowledge, confidence, and practical first aid skills. The program is expected to contribute towards producing responsible, community-minded graduates who are well prepared to support the safety and well-being of both the campus community and society as a whole.
