3 Steps to be more Optimistic

3 Steps to be more Optimistic

Nowadays, we always talk about the topic of pessimistic mindset. We can’t deny that the grown-ups and teenagers who living in this society always feeling down and depressed. The research shows that an optimistic person will reduce the risk of died from many reasons. Therefore, the ways to be more optimistic becomes very important for all of us to overcome the challenges in future. Hence, I would like to share some tips about the steps to be more optimistic through this article.

 

  1. Focus on the good things

We should always remember and recall the sweet memories we gained in our life. This way will help our brain to produce the hormone called ‘dopamine’.  Dopamine is a hormone which will let our brain calms down when we are facing some conundrums. How to produce this kind of hormone? We can produce dopamine by ourselves when we are helping people, donating, keeping the environment clean and also giving the sweet smile to the people around us. All the good tasks listed will bring us the good mood and feel chillax.

  1. Exercising

Making a timetable to do exercises will diverge our attention from negative issues. Aerobics, walking, swimming, jogging etc help us to throw our negative mood away and also release the toxic from our body. If a person lacks exercising, laziness is planted in the mind. In the end, he will not be motivated to face any problem and easy to give up in everything. Full scedules allow us have no time to worry and recall the things that aren’t good to boot. Through the activity of exercising, we can live a healthier life from the physical and mental perspective. The energetic body creates the smart brain!

 

  1. Keep trying

We should never give up on something quickly. We may try something once and once again until we get the glory. We can change our mind and find the different solutions when we are facing the problems in life. We can also ask for help when needed. On the other hand, if we gave up and ignored the problem, the desire for glory will only be diminished. We will also look down on ourselves for the failures and weaknesses. Imagine the achievement after encountering endless trials and defeats, we will feel strong and appreciate every mistake we made in the journey. Hence, we should keep trying until we make the perfection with an optimistic mindset.

 

In short, being optimistic brings various benefits for us such as self-development from many perspectives. We can’t live without being optimistic. Being optimistic will allow us to know the direction in our life. As a Malaysian, we should be optimistic to create a better future for our children and future generations.
