Mental Health Care Tips

In this era of Covid-19, mental care needs to be emphasized by everyone. Mental health can be directly affected someone’s life. Based on the statement of World Health Organization (WHO), mental health is a thing most neglected and nearly one billion people live with mental disorder. Such things need to be highlighted and mental care awareness needs to be raised among society. Perfect mental health care abounds benefit to everyone in various aspects including emotions. Thus, there are few tips to maintain our mental care for the well-being of society.

Firstly, mental health care can be maintained by doing exercise at least thrice a week. Physical health is closely related to mental care. A healthy body can maintain a good mental health as well as being able to avoid stress and pressure. This is because, body stretching, and light exercise can help the body to secrete ‘happy hormone’ or also known as the dopamine which produced through sweat-releasing exercises. Through exercise, our mind will also feel smarter and fitter as well as maintaining a stable mental health.

In addition, everyone should practice a nutritious and balance diet. Daily diet is highly affecting our mental health and physical health. A healthy diet should be emphasized by each person because nutrition affects our emotions. The easiest step for mental care is by make sure to drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day. Besides, protein sources such as legumes, fish, eggs and meat should be included in the diet of each person. Next is the consuming of vegetables and fruits as our daily intake to get an adequate nutrition. 

Furthermore, mental health can also be taken care of by asking help from close people such as family and friends. Someone can express their feelings to people which is believed to reduce the stress or grief that likely to affect mental health. Moreover, rather than reducing stress, an individual can also obtain opinions or views to address any problems and reduce the burden experienced. Besides, asking for help from a mental health specialist is also a step to a mental care for further treatment including advice and tips for a perfect mental care.

In conclusion, mental health should not be underestimated and marginalized because it can affect one’s life. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance the awareness of mental health care to the community. This awareness can open the minds of people about the benefits of mental health stability. Thus, everyone should practice the tips of mental health care to live a healthy and perfect life.
