INTRODUCTION

Established on April 1, 1999, Tenth College began to move forward as a newly developed college at Universiti Putra Malaysia. Under the main leader, Dr. Marry Huang as the first principal, various initiatives have been taken to ensure that the Tenth College continues to move forward academically as well as co-curriculum on par with other existing colleges.

Tenth College also started its service by accommodating both male and female students but the situation changed in 2002 as the college only allowed male students to stay at this college. The college also houses students who are mostly from the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Design & Architecture.

In 2019, Kolej 10 merged with Kolej 11, which is a college that houses female students from the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Design & Architecture and kept the name Kolej 10 as the new unification name.

Today, after more than 20 years of operation, Tenth College has successfully proved that this college which is only inhabited by both faculty students is also able to compete with other colleges in any field. This was evident when Tenth College has emerged as the overall champion for 3 consecutive years in inter-college sports. Apart from that, the success of Tenth College in obtaining the Sanggar Genta award for 2 years in a row can also prove that students are also able to be active in arts and culture. In addition to being active in the co-curriculum, studies are also emphasized in each student. This is proven when students majoring in Engineering and Architecture are also able to obtain PNG 4.0. Success after success achieved by Tenth College has given confidence to the management of Universiti Putra Malaysia to make Tenth College a pioneer college for wireless programs.

Hoping for tomorrow that Tenth College can make the name of Universiti Putra Malaysia in general and the name of this college especially to the whole world. In addition, Tenth College strives to produce superior human capital among its students so that it can be the backbone of the next generation of the nation.
