Serdang, 26 April 2026 – The Battle For The Throne: SEDBA MLBB Tournament program was successfully held on 25 and 26 April 2026 at the Futsal Court, Kolej Sepuluh, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). This program was organized by Sekretariat Kediaman dan Kebajikan (SEDBA), Majlis Perwakilan Kolej (MPK) Kolej Sepuluh Session 2025/2026 in collaboration with Pihak Pengurusan Kolej Sepuluh, Kesatuan Mahasiswa (KM), Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar (BHEP) UPM as well as Maxis Broadband Sdn. Bhd.

This e-sports competition based on the game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) successfully attracted the participation of 20 teams involving a total of 117 participants consisting of UPM students and the external community. The program also received an encouraging response with the attendance of 518 spectators throughout the two-day event. Cash prizes in the form of mock cheques were presented to the winners, with RM400 awarded to the third-place winner, RM600 to the second-place winner, and RM800 to the champion. The cash prizes were sponsored by Maxis Broadband Sdn. Bhd.

Various exciting activities were organized to enliven the program, including food stalls and the Maxis booth which offered free SIM cards to visitors. The presence of e-sport caster, Encik Ammar Qayyim (Mars), also enhanced the excitement among spectators through professional and energetic commentary throughout the competition.

This program not only served as a platform to discover talents in the e-sports field, but also successfully fostered the spirit of sportsmanship, cooperation and unity among participants. The organization of programs like this are hoped to continue supporting youth talent development as well as increasing public interest in the rapidly growing e-sports industry in Malaysia.
