All students are encouraged to participate in organised and scheduled activities (activity calendar) every semester to get the amount of merit set to qualify for college stay in future sessions. Please refer to some schedules and regulations set by the college or university.

UPM MERIT SYSTEM 

The organization of Kolej Sepuluh is divided into two parts, which are College Administration and Student Development. The principal is the executive officer of the university who is appointed to manage the affairs of the college. The college administration functions in managing the infrastructure and logistics of the college such as handing over rooms, maintenance of damages, facilities, correspondence and student records.

The Student Development Division consists of Fellows and the College Representative Council (MPK). Kolej Sepuluh has 13 staff and 11 fellows who support the college's planning in providing comfortable accommodation, a safe and conducive environment for students to produce students and leaders with superior personalities.

COLLEGE ORGANIZATION

Alumni Information System (AIS) is a web portal developed by the Alumni Centre to collect and update data and profiles of the alumni of UPM. This portal is intended to ensure that the information and alumni profiles are always current, active and easily accessible for announcements and to publicise activities /programs organised by UPM.

Undergraduate

UPM offers full-time programmes to qualified candidates with STPM/equivalent, Matriculation/Foundation, Diploma/equivalent qualifications as these are entry requirements for its Bachelor Degree. Candidates with SPM/equivalent qualification are eligible to apply for Diploma and Foundation for Agricultural Science programmes.

Postgraduate

UPM offers more than 400 fields of postgraduate study in its effort to transform Malaysia into a higher education hub of excellence at the regional and international level. UPM constantly strives to produce well-balanced students from the academic and ethical aspects. UPM currently has the highest percentage of academicians with PhD in Malaysia. It also provides a conducive environment and invaluable learning experience to its students from more than 60 countries. Those who are interested in postgraduate education programmes (except management) must submit their applications through the School of Graduate Studies (SGS). Students interested in Bachelor and Postgraduate studies through the Distance Learning Programme must apply to UPM Education & Training (UPMET).

VISIT BY THE PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES WELFARE TASK FORCE TO DAPUR SISWA MADANI @ TENTH COLLEGE, UPM
Tenth College, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), received a visit from the Taskforce on Student Welfare in Public Universities, led by Encik Wan Zaharuddin Wan Abdullah @ Wan Abd Rahman, Head of the Student Affairs Division, and Cik Ummi Husna Abdullah, Head of the Student Well-being Section. The visit to the Dapur Siswa MADANI @ Tenth College was also attended by Puan Nurhaslinda Karim, Senior Assistant Registrar of Tenth College, together with the college’s management staff and College Student Representative Council (MPK), to assess the college’s preparedness and the implementation of student welfare initiatives. This visit also involves an inspection of the kitchen facilities and operational needs, which include aspects of kitchen and cooking equipment, cleanliness, storage, inventory management, safety, and accessibility. The MADANI Student Kitchen @ Tenth College has been operational and is in the process of preparing and improving facilities in anticipation of welcoming new students for the 2026/2027 academic session in September 2026. The MADANI Student Kitchen initiative also emphasises efforts to strengthen the welfare and food security of students through the implementation of the Student Love Menu and Student Foodbank. The Student Care Menu provides a selection of cooked dishes, while the Student Foodbank offers food donations and basic necessities for students residing in dormitories. The implementation of this initiative reflects UPM's commitment to strengthening the aspects of student welfare and well-being. The implementation of the MADANI Student Kitchen @ Tenth College provides a facility space that can be optimally utilised by students, and continues to support the efforts of the college and university in creating a campus environment that prioritises the welfare and well-being of students.
