SERDANG, 7 Nov 2021 – The Secretariat of Corporate Communication and Integrity (CommRate) of Tenth College had successfully organized a News Challenge program via social media app Instagram. The program was carried out for 5 days from 12:00 midnight on 1 November 2021 to 11:59 p.m. on 5 November 2021. The aim of this program was to discover, polish and highlight the ability as a news reader among the Tenth College students. Moreover, improving their skill to communicate with confidence in front of the community was one of the objectives of this program. A total of 11 participants from Tenth College had joined this program. However, the participants who were interested in this program can register from 26 to 30 October 2021. The participants who were successfully registered were required to record a short presentation video with the duration of 60 to 90 seconds and upload the video to their social media accounts with a hashtag #NewsChallengeK10 and compulsory caption @commrate.k10upm. Every participant will be evaluated based on intonation (tone of voice & technique), appearance (tidy & attractive), style (face expression & body language), effort & creativity and background. The secretariat and management from Tenth College sent their warm congratulations to Jayasri A/P Kalaislvan (IG account: jayasri_1301) who won in the category of Malay language and Hasya Sufiah Danisyah Binti Omar Dani (IG account: daneo.s) who won in the category of English Language. The first winner was rewarded with RM70, RM 50 for the second winner and RM 30 for the third winner for each category.
