THEME: MAGERA 2024: Traditions and Performances of Kolej Sepuluh's Glorious Night Coloring

Putrajaya, 9 June 2024 - "A very prestigious and inspiring event where students can be recognized for their various achievements such as academics, leadership, arts, sports and entrepreneurship. At the same time responding to the slogan of Universiti Putra Malaysia which is Knowledge and Service," said Muhammad Syafiq bin Roslan, Director of the Gemilang Elite Recognition Award (MAGERA) 2024 Program.

MAGERA 2024 organized by the College Representative Council (MPK) of Kolej Sepuluh Session 2023/2024 with the cooperation of Kolej Sepuluh Management, the Student Union (KM) and the Student Affairs Division (BHEP) took place at The Renjana, Lanai Asmara, Putrajaya. This ceremony was officiated by YBrs. Ts. Dr. Luthffi Idzhar bin Ismail, Principal of Sepuluh College who also presented awards to the winners.

MAGERA 2024 is an annual program of Kolej Sepuluh to give appreciation and awards to students who actively participate in various activities and programs and contribute to Kolej Sepuluh. The awards given are divided into two categories, group awards and individual awards. This program is also held to celebrate final year students who are about to graduate.

The ceremony that took place was attended by 414 individuals consisting of the management and fellows of Kolej Sepuluh, invited guests, principals and college presidents. This MAGERA will not be complete with the presence of final year students and award winners to realize the objectives of this program. This glorious atmosphere saw the presentation of several prestigious awards that recognized individual and group achievements.

Among the individual awards presented was the Anugerah Seri Gemilang (Elite Grand Award) which is the highest award of the night. The Magera Seri Gemilang Award 2024 was awarded to Sister Humairatul Huda binti Sudarman for her exceptional excellence. The Seri Wibawa Award (Leadership) was awarded to Brother Ahmad Nubli bin Zainal Abidin as an appreciation for his outstanding leadership. In addition, the Seri Intelek (Academic) Award was received by Brother Muhammad Afiq Aiman ​​bin Aziz in recognition of his very proud academic achievements.

In the group award category, the Best Secretariat Award was awarded to the Academic Secretariat (ACAEX) for its excellent secretariat performance. The Gem Program Award was won by Thailand's K10 Skills and Knowledge Youth Empowerment (K10SKYE) indicating the success of the program in the implementation of the program as a whole. Finally, the Support Secretariat Award was won by the Technical and Multimedia Secretariat who were recognized for their invaluable support in the implementation of the program at Kolej Sepuluh.

In addition to the presentation of awards, the ceremony was also graced with artistic and cultural performances as well as a dinner that strengthened the relationship between college members. MAGERA 2024 also received sponsorship from various parties including Yus Care Cool Company, Proville Tech Sdn Bhd and several individuals such as Mr. Hasrizal and Mr. Asraf who helped organize this program.

This program not only aims to appreciate the contribution of students but also to train them in aspects of leadership, planning and management. Activities like this can hone students' ability to make decisions and supervise programs effectively. In addition, this program also fosters the spirit of patriotism and unity among students while encouraging them to continue contributing to society and the university.

With a program like this, Kolej Sepuluh remains committed to producing future leaders who are competitive and highly skilled. Malam Gemilang Elite Recognition Award (MAGERA) 2024 succeeded in achieving its goal in producing quality graduates as well as making the university proud. As Nelson Mandela said, "Success is not a destination but a journey that requires relentless effort and perseverance."
