SERDANG, March 1 - Lego Robotics Workshop 2023 organized by K10 Innovators Club, Academic Secretariat (ACAEX) College Representative Council (MPK) Tenth College Session 2022/2023, University Putra Malaysia (UPM) has successfully come to the end by educating more than 100 participants especially students aged 7 to 16 years as the preparation for facing Industry Revolution 5.0. 

This workshop has been successfully implemented with 3 sessions which are the 6th workshop on February 20 to 21, the 7th workshop on February  21 and 22, and the 8th on February 27 to 28. Through this workshop, participants can unravel their talents and creativity to think creatively and critically in the technology industry.

The program director, Muhammad Mustaqim Nurhady, a third year student of Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, said that this workshop has received a very encouraging response from parents and participants.

"Our sponsored workshop has received more than 100 participations from schools around the Klang Valley. Based on the response from parents and the highly encouraging reception, we plan to continue this program in the future and possibly turn it into a weekly program to further enhance the knowledge of young people in the field of engineering. Additionally, this program has also successfully trained 10 facilitators among the students of the Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at UPM to critically share their knowledge with participants and solve problems related to electronic systems and computer programming in line with the development of the Internet of Things or IoT," he said.

Among the activities carried out during this workshop were the building of a Line Follower Robot, Obstacle Robot, Tug of War Robot, and Soccer Robot, as well as programming the systems using Lego Digital Design and Lego Mindstorm applications.
