Kolej Sepuluh, UPM - On April 28, 2024, the Environment Secretariat of the College Representative Council (MPK) of Kolej Sepuluh Session 2023/2024 organized the Bright MADANI @ K10 Green Warrior Student Program at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sri Serdang, Selangor in collaboration with the Management of Kolej Sepuluh, Pusat University Community Transformation (UCTC), Waqf, Zakat and Endowment Management Center (WAZAN), Student Union (KM) and Student Affairs Division (BHEP), Universiti Putra Malaysia. The MADANI @ K10 Green Warrior Bright Student Program has had the participation of 100 people consisting of Kolej Sepuluh, UCTC, Sri Serdang National School students and teachers as well as the Taman Sri Serdang community. Among the programs that have been carried out are the kokedama workshop with UCTC, the Hope to Soap 2.0 workshop, the Eco Print Natural Dye production workshop, the Putra Development Bus exhibition and Farm Fresh milk sales.

The organization of this program aims to establish close relations between the university and the local community by giving back to the community. In addition, this program can give exposure to the participants about handling the disposal of used cooking oil waste in an environmentally friendly way. Participants can also express their creativity in producing unique works of art using natural materials.

Program director, Sister Nurul Fariha Mohd Jusoh said a total of 22 facilitators from Kolej Sepuluh were involved in the implementation of this program. "The Bright MADANI @ K10 Green Warrior Student Program is not just a program, but an ongoing initiative to further strengthen the close relationship between the university and the local community while instilling awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability". "We hope that this cooperation and relationship that has been established can be further strengthened for a more sustainable and harmonious future", he said.
