YOUTUBE LIVE, CHANNEL K10 UPM, 5 JUNE 2021 - Alumni and Career Secretariat of the College Representative Council (MPK) of Kolej Sepuluh in collaboration with the Management of Kolej Sepuluh, Student Affairs Division (BHEP) UPM, UPM Wakaf, Zakat & Endowment Management Center (WAZAN) , UPM Entrepreneurship Development & Graduate Marketability Center (CEM), UPM Alumni Relations Center (ARC), as well as the Malaysian Association of Agricultural Engineers-Student Branch (MSAE-SC) UPM have organized the Alumni & Virtual Career Expo (ACE) program starting on 21 May 2021 until 5 June 2021 ago. The purpose of organizing this program is to provide early exposure to students related to the challenges that will be faced in the workplace, train students in resume writing and give them the opportunity to produce a creative resume or vitea curriculum (CV). This program is divided into three sub -programs, namely Creative Resume Contest, Professional CV & Resume Writing Workshop and K10Alumni @ Distant Sharing 2.0 "Route After Your 1st Degree". The first sub -program, the Creative Resume Contest, took place starting on May 21, 2021 on the Instagram application "@alumni_k10upm". Students are given a period of two weeks, starting May 21, 2021 until June 3, 2021 to submit entries via the Google Registration Form. There were 125 entries from UPM students and the majority were students from Kolej Sepuluh. All of these resumes were judged by a jury from Engage People, Media 3 U Ventures and the Center for Entrepreneurship Development & UPM Graduate Marketability (CEM) for 2 days. As a result of the judges, a participant from Kolej Sepuluh named Mohd Fazli bin Abd Rashid was crowned as the Champion and managed to take home a cash prize of RM 100. Meanwhile, the runner -up and third place were Krishan Arpidani bin Muhammad Danial Phillip and Ahmad Kamarul Azhar bin Abdul Rahman. Not to forget, there are 4 consolation winners, namely Nabil Iman Bin Muzaffar, Muhammad Danial Syazani Bin Muhammed Syamsulbahrin, Nor Syamimi Amalina Robane and Sumathi A/P Ilamaran. Next, the second subprogram is the Professional CV & Resume Writing Workshop which took place on 23 May 2021 via Youtube Live, UPM's K10 channel. This workshop is an important initiative to introduce the participants to the documents that are quite important in job-hunting or finding a place to undergo industrial training (LI) later. Therefore, a certified speaker and career trainee, Mr. Gerald Lee (founder of Touching Hearts, Bridging Minds) was invited to share a quality and professional resume and CV writing method. Throughout the program, various questions were posed and answered quite clearly by the guest speakers. K10Alumni @ Distant Sharing 2.0 "Route After Your 1st Degree" is the third subprogram that took place on 4 June 2021 on Youtube Live, UPM's K10 channel. The program is in the form of sharing experiences and advice related to career direction by alumni of Kolej Sepuluh. Two invited panelists who are also college alumni are Ir. Sharmendra Kumar Krishnan (Head of Highway Department at KL Consult Associates Sdn. Bhd.) And also LAr. Wan Fakaruddin Wan Ab. Aziz (Landscape Architect at the National Landscape Department) was present and shared his experiences and ideas on the direction of graduates, especially in the field of engineering and architectural science. In total, a total of 1626 participants and spectators have participated in this ACE program. A word of appreciation is also extended to the co -organizers, jurors, invited panelists and committee members who were directly involved in the success of this program. Hopefully, such a program can be held again in the future by aiming for higher impact objectives for the benefit of UPM Ten College students.
