AQUAREHAB FOR ORANG ASLI

PAHANG, March 11 – A total of 47 participants from Universiti Putra Malaysia's Sepuluh College have
get involved in the Aquarehab Program for Orang Asli held in Kampung Gumum, Tasik
Chini There are various types of activities that have been held, including health checks
free, pipe installation process, getong-royong and community activities. This programme
is one of the programs that has not been held for a long time following the country's epidemic
Covid-19 disease.
 According to the program director, this program is one of the big programs for
recommended because it involves many parties and consumes relatively high costs. however,
thanks to the efforts of the team this program can be carried out successfully. In addition, Village residents
Gumum also stated that they have not received visits from students to make programs in their village for a long time.
 Among the focus given in this program is to foster enthusiasm
community between the students themselves and the community and in addition to strengthening it
the spirit of volunteerism in the students of Universiti Putra Malaysia. Students not only get
sharing and practicing the knowledge gained while at university but being able to find reason within
further developing the village area is not intended to destroy tradition but to change it
little to modern with a traditional concept.
