Fine Dining Training Programme

SERDANG, 27 March 2022 – The Secretariat of Corporate Communication of Integrity (CommRate),Tenth College (K10) has successfully organized a Fine Dining Training program at L'apprenti Restaurant Food Service Complex of the Department of Food Management and Service, Faculty of Food Science and Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). This one-day program was launched on March 27, 2022 (Sunday) with an overall participation of 46 participants from inside and outside The Tenth College.  The main objective of the program is to teach and provide participants with initial exposure to the correct ethics and protocols during civilized eating events in addition to demonstrating demonstrations through simulations of proper civilized eating. Indirectly, this program is also an initial preparation for students, especially final-year students who will be graded later to be used in the future work.

       The average attendees were excited and eager to follow each of the available slots, especially the meal procedure simulation slot where participants were given real experience to learn while experiencing their own experience of civilized eating using proper and precise procedures.  The Secretariat and Management of Tenth College would like to thank the participants for their success in the Fine Dining Training programme. Appreciation and gratitude were also given to the Wakaf Management Centre, Zakat Endowment (WAZAN) and Student Affairs Division (BHEP), UPM for their contribution and cooperation to make this program a reality.
