TENTH COLLEGE, 26 March 2022 – On 26 March 2022, the Academic Secretariat organised a program titled ‘Free Books for You’ which was held in the Alamanda Room. This program was aimed to assist the students who need help in terms of academic books. This program was made open to all the students of the Tenth College. A lot of students have been waiting outside of the room even before the program started. While the program was being held, as many as 18 male students and 21 female students grabbed the opportunity to obtain the free academic books. To ensure that the rest of the students could benefit from this program as well, a limitation has been set where each student was only allowed to take up to five books per person. Every student attending the program shall follow the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that has been set where they need to take turns to enter the room. Only three students were allowed to be in the room at a time. Moreover, the Academic Secretariat was also selling Malaysian ice cream at the price of RM1 per piece in front of the Alamanda Room. There were a variety of flavours being offered for the students to choose. The ice cream selling activity was the secretariat’s internal program under the ACAEX Premium Exco targeting in building the students’ interest in entrepreneurship activities. It is hoped that more such programs that are beneficial towards the students could be held in the near future.
