K10 Skills and Knowledge Youth Empowerement (K10 SKYE)

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, FEBRUARY 26, 2023 – Student Representative Council (MPK), Sepuluh College (K10) in collaboration with Sepuluh College Management, Engineering Student Association (PEMAJU),
Faculty of Design and Architecture (FRSB), Universiti Putra Malaysia International Center (i-Putra),Waqf, Zakat And Endowment Management Center (WAZAN) and Student Affairs Division (BHEP),Universiti Putra Malaysia has held a student mobility program to Sydney, Australia which is K10 Skills and Knowledge Youth Empowerment (K10 SKYE). The program lasts physically for two week starting on 26 February 2023 (Sunday) to 11 March 2023 (Saturday) at Macquarie University, University of Sydney (USYD), University of New South Wales (UNSW), and University of
Wollongong, Australia. A total of 15 students and 2 Fellows of Sepuluh College have been involved in this program. The participants each consisted of 14 students from the Faculty Engineering (FK) and one from the Faculty of Design and Architecture (FRSB).
The main purpose of this program is to improve students' intellectual skills through Learning the culture of foreign communities as well as improving students' Global Competency with study abroad experience. Students also have the opportunity to improve understanding they are about global issues and perspectives related to the knowledge they are engaged in on the side promoting Malaysian culture by playing an important role as the country's ambassador.
The two weeks in Sydney have been filled with a variety of dense, rewarding and interesting activities. Among the activities that have been carried out include Teaching and Learning at UNSW, walking around the campus, getting to know each other with Malaysian students who are connecting
 Lessons in Sydney, a UNSW-UPM friendly basketball match and cooperative activities
with the Muslim community around the Darul Iman Mosque.
The Sepuluh College Representative Council (MPK) would like to thank the participants who involved in making the program a success throughout the two weeks. Also a necklace appreciation to all parties for their contribution in making this program a success. It is hoped that programs like this can be carried out in the future in a better way.
