FACEBOOK LIVE PAGE: UPM COLLEGE ALUMNI 10, 21 DEC 2020 - On 18 December 2020,
the Alumni Secretariat and Career of the College Representative Council (MPK) of the Ten Colleges in collaboration with the Management of the Ten Colleges and the Student Affairs Division (BHEP), UPM has taken the initiative by organizing the K10Alumni @ Distant Sharing program. The purpose of organizing this program is to provide early exposure to students related to career realities in the field of engineering. Ms. Roslina Bin Japar was invited as a panelist for sharing experiences. He is an alumnus of the Eleventh College (when there was the Eleventh College) and UPM class 2013. Throughout the program, Brother Muhammad Maleq Isqandar Bin Nor Jalal, Chairman of the Alumni Secretariat and Career of the Ten Session College 2020/2021 has acted as Moderator. Among the topics covered during this program are the scope of basic work as an engineer, challenges as an engineer, and tips for facing an interview to take up a position as an engineer. Apart from that, some questions were also asked to the panel by the students who attended for one hour and thirty minutes of this program broadcast live on the Facebook Live Page Alumni of UPM College 10. There are even students from other colleges such as Kolej Pendeta Za’ba (KPZ) and Kolej Tun Doktor Ismail (KTDI) who also attended to gain knowledge. The program managed to garner about 350 views on average throughout its live broadcast. The program ended with words of encouragement from the panel to the students present, especially first year students to continue to work in their studies despite the many constraints in the learning process during the eight weeks of lectures. Hopefully such a program can be held again in the future by displaying more knowledgeable panels and more rational topics for the good of students at UPM Ten College. (259 words)
