Leadership, Exploration and Development (Lead) Camp 2022

TENTH COLLEGE, UPM AND SULTAN IDRIS SHAH FORESTRY EDUCATION CENTER (SISFEC), PUCHONG, 4 MAC 2022. College Representative Council (MPK) Tenth College session 2021/2022 has organized a program called Leadership, Exploration and Development (LEAD) Camp 2022 on 21 to 25 February 2022. The program has been running successfully for five days and four nights where various safety and preventive measures COVID-19 were successfully implemented to prevent any untoward incidents from happening. The LEAD Camp 2022 program was held aimed to hone leadership talents among students as well as to identify will be the successor to the College Representative Council (MPK) in the next session. Having evaluated various aspects and criteria, a total of 43 College Ten students were selected to participate in LEAD Camp 2022 located at Tenth College, UPM and Sultan Idris Shah Forestry Education Center (SISFEC). All these students have successfully participated in all Group Training (LDK) that have been designed throughout the course of the program.

Throughout the LDK, the students were divided into six small groups and led by a group leader. There are nine LDKs that have been conducted where all these LDKs have succeeded in achieving the targeted objective of being able to hone communication skills, critical thinking and teamwork among students. Not that alone, the leadership element is also successfully applied among students. Throughout the program, students are able to be on time by attending 20 minutes early at each LDK slot as informed by the facilitator. This shows that students can act according to the instructions that have been given throughout the course of the program. Five day four program tonight can be successfully implemented right up to the LeAD Camp 2022 Closing Ceremony conducted on 25 February 2022, starting at 8.30pm without any problems no

desired to apply. Hopefully this program can give a positive impact to various parties especially

to the prospective successors of the College Representative Council (MPK) of Tenth College for the next session.
