Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Center (PKKSSAAS), UPM, September 23, 2019 - In conjunction with the Cultures Night Program 2019 (MTB 2019), an intercultural cultural competition was held at PKKSSAAS, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) on 18 September 2019. Student Activity Management Section Student Affairs Division, UPM. Participating in the Cultural Flower Night 2019 is a compulsory competition for every first year student in every college at Universiti Putra Malaysia to nurture the culture and showcase the talents of the students in the arts. MTB brought on the theme 'We Love UPM' for this year which is a new theme for the competition to instill a love and affection for UPM, especially for first year students. A total of 50 participants represented the Tenth College and were under the supervision of the College of Culture & Arts College's Representative Council (MPK), Ten College. The competition began at 8:00 pm with a special presentation from Adimastuli Senitari Club, UPM and was followed by performances by other colleges. Tenth College took second place in the competition and other Tenth College members were present to give their representatives strong support. The Tenth College has brought a dance drama titled 'Step by Hope' that tells of the first steps of students in climbing the ladder of success, shaping life, and exploring the cultural diversity of the nation in UPM's beloved varsity. A hopeful, dreamy dream of achieving 'We Love UPM' roaring success. The Tenth College has won the Special Publicity Award and a big congratulations to all new students of the 2019/2020 session and to the Student Representative Council (MPK) directly and indirectly.
