SERDANG, 6 Oct- The "Young Generation Leadership and Nationalism" Dialogue Ceremony between Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)’s PALAPES members, together with Maj. Dato 'Wira Md Tajri Alwi, Training Commander, Army, Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) was held on 28th September 2019 at the Center Training Officer (PALAPES), College Sultan Alaeddin Sulaiman Shah (KOSASS). The presence of Maj. Dato 'Hero Md Tajri Alwi was welcomed by Kol (K) Prof. Your Datin Dato 'Dr. Aini Ideris, Commander PALAPES UPM. Lt. Kdr. Associate Professor Gs. Dr. Mohd Hasmadi Ismail who is also the KOSSAS Principal, Major Muhammad Fadzil Repin, Deputy Commander, and PALAPES UPM officers were also presented at the event.

At the event, Mayor Jen Dato & Mira Tajd Alw Wira presented a dialogue session on the leadership and spirit of nationalism and identity that is needed among the younger generation especially the PALAPES UPM cadets. In the same dialogue, he described how he began serving at the ATM until now as a guide to PALAPES UPM cadet officers. During the dialogue, PALAPES UPM cadet officers had the opportunity to interview him and ask his views on the modern military world.

Dato 'Hero and Col (K) Prof. Datin Dato 'Dr. Aini Ideris, Commander of PALAPES UPM has planted some of the trees as a symbol of UPM's green elasticity.
