SERDANG, 4 Oct- A total of 106 students from the Tenth College attended the Parade Competition and the opening ceremony of the UPM Intercollegiate Sports Championship (SUKOL) session 2019/2020 that was held at the Sports Complex, University Putra Malaysia. The Ten College was led by Amirul Hussin Mohammad Ansahari with the motto 'Glorious Among the Distinguished'.

In addition, the contestants from the Tenth College have also featured some of Malaysia's most famous mascots such as national cars, tiger tigers, and also Malaysia's tallest tower, the Petronas Twin Towers. The parade competition was held to further enliven the opening ceremony of the InterContinental Sports Opening Ceremony which began at 8.00pm and ended at 10.30pm. The opening ceremony of the SUKOL was officiated by the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Chancellor UPM. In the SUKOL session of the 2019/2020 session, the contestants from Tenth College won second place in 'Beautiful Village' inspired by Tenth College Sports Secretariat.

For the record, the organization of the UPM Intercollegiate Sports Championship (SUKOL) is held every year as a platform to identify the talents among college students who have been featured in representing universities in MASUM, SUKIPT, HCFS, AUG, WUG, WC and the other tournaments. In this regard, organizing college sports is also a way for students to engage in sports activities that will produce mentally and physically fit results, and competitive and resilient results. In addition, the objective of organizing the sport is also a way to provide a new experience for college students in the management of a participating team in a tournament.
