SERDANG, AUGUST 27, 2022 - The College Representative (MPK) of Tenth College 2022/2023 has organised a project, which is Smart Lamp Tenth College will be implemented from 26 August to 31 August 2022. A total number of 40 members of the College Representative Council (MPK) of Tenth College 2022/2023 had cooperated and contributed to ensure that the project had been carried out successfully with the guidance of fellows. A Smart Lamp is installed at the student’s walkway of Tenth College (Female Block), from the “Drop point” area to the front of Tenth College’s management office. The objective of the project has been successfully achieved, which aims to save electricity consumption and preserve the safety of students especially at night (7.00 p.m. until 7.00 a.m.). In addition, the goal of the project had been achieved at the same time, which aims to compete in the Service Quality and Innovation Day Award/Prize (HKIP) organised by Universiti Putra Malaysia (Up.m.).

The project consumes a day to prepare the necessary components or the materials needed. On August 27, 2022, the installation of the Smart Lamp K10 starts periodically from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. There is the use of applications that can be uploaded on the Apps Store app, with the aim to control the use of the project’s lights, in terms of time control of use and the effectiveness of using sensors on the Smart Lamp K10. This has resulted in the students being able to expand their knowledge in the use of technology and facilitate the project to be carried out properly.

The Smart Lamp K10 Project is designed to benefit every resident of Tenth College for a long time in the future. Hence, it is hoped that this project can be maintained and improved to achieve the objectives highlighted, and continues to innovate in the use of technology, as it is able to produce flexible students from various aspects.
