SATURDAY, 26 March 2022 – On 26 March 2022, the College Representative Council of the Secretariat of Culture and the Arts, SETA ChengXia, Tenth College had organized a Tiong Hua Cultural Night 2022 via YouTube Live.  The objective of Tiong Hua Cultural Night 2022 is to provide exposure to all residents of Universiti Putra Malaysia on Chinese culture. Moreover, the programme also aims to cultivate unity and foster integration among people in order to build a harmonious community regardless of race and ethnicity. In addition, the purpose of this programme includes instilling entrepreneurial values in students through business planning and management. Producing the young generation of Tenth College and driving an organization with full charisma are also the objectives of this programme. At the end, the program aims to foster unity with each other by involving various races and ethnicities via the implementation of the programme.

         In this program, SETA Walinongsari and SETA Samiyuktha have contributed Indian traditional dances and Malay traditional dances. This provides an opportunity for a composed audience from various races to witness the traditional dances found in Malaysia and also introduce traditional dances of other races to university students. This also ensures harmony between communities of different races. Next, traditional Chinese performances, 24 Seasons Drum Club and Diabolo can be recognized by the students through this program. From MKTH program executives themselves have also prepared presentations, short dramas and songs for the program.

         In conclusion, the program has run smoothly and managed to entertain as well, impacting the audience that participated in the program that night. The Secretariat and Management of Kolej Sepuluh (K10), UPM would like to thank all parties for their cooperation in making the program a success. Hopefully this program can nurture unity and integration among students.
