Tenth college, 1 April – The E-Waste Program is organized by the Environment Secretariat of Tenth College for the 2021/2022 session in collaboration with BHEP. Received the content from the speaker Puan Nur Aliaa Shafie, Vice Director of Hazardous Materials Division of Department of Environment. The program was conducted online on 1 April 2022 (Friday) at the K10 UPM YouTube channel link by live. Aim of this program is to discuss the environmental issues, especially the issues of e-waste that are increasing in this modern era. In the meantime, this program can provide exposure to the students on the electronic and electrical waste management (e-waste) because e-waste poses a dangerous threat to public health and the environment. In addition, this program will raise the awareness to all students on their responsibilities and role as users of electrical and electronic items. The program is carried out with the announcement of the program content, followed by a question-and-answer session between the moderator and the speaker and is ended with a Quizzie game session This session is conducted to attract the students' attention with the program. The program received a good response among UPM students which exceeded the target number of audiences. Such high-impact program is expected to provide exposure for the students on the importance of e-waste management and its impact on the environment, assist students to get a clearer explanation on environmental questions and provide the students information about the initiative actions that can be taken as an effort to resolve the issues of e-waste disposal.
