FACILITATOR OF UPM ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP CAMP 2024

Kem Permata Resort, Alor Gajah, Melaka, 28 August 2024 - The Organizational Strengthening Camp (KPO Mega 2024) is a series of indoor and outdoor activities that emphasize the development of leadership skills and group cooperation has been organized at Kem Permata Resort, Alor Gajah. This program attracts participants from various backgrounds to improve self-efficacy in organizational situations and physical endurance.

Indoor Activities: Among the indoor activities conducted is Conflict Management Training, where conflict situations in organizations are simulated to train participants to deal with the challenge effectively. In addition, a Leadership and Communication Workshop was also held, giving participants the opportunity to practice communication and leadership skills interactively in a group.

WORLD CAFE TRUE NORTH's Strategic Planning Session becomes a platform for organizational strategy discussions and collective decisions. No less interesting, the Floating Stone Game activity was also carried out, which encouraged the creative interaction of participants to make floating stones using the equipment provided.

Outdoor Activities: Outside the training room, the participants are presented with a physical challenge through the Obstacle Course, where they are tested in terms of cooperation and endurance in a group. Nature Exploration Activities are also conducted to increase awareness of the environment, in addition to strengthening leadership skills among participants.

This program successfully achieved its objective in fostering leadership skills, communication, as well as physical and mental endurance of the participants.

  • Organizational Strengthening Camp (KPO Mega 2024) was held at UPM Serdang and Permata Resort Camp, Alor Gajah, Melaka, from 28 August to 3 September 2024.
  • This camp is organized by the Student Affairs Division (BHEP) and involves leadership training, organizational management, as well as strengthening cooperation among students.
  • Participants consist of members of the Student Representative Council, College Representative Council, Faculty Representative Council, Associations, and UPM student clubs.
  • The main objective of this camp is to improve organizational management skills as well as build team spirit among the participants.
